The literal translation of the word “Islam” is peace and Islam requires its followers to live in peace and harmony with their fellow human beings, irrespective of the sect or religion they associate themselves with. Keeping in view the teachings and principles of Islam, “1Nation Team” was formed as a community initiative to complement the Sultanate of Oman, its leader Sultan Qaboos Bin Said and Scholars efforts of promoting peace among all people of the world by protecting our heritage and fostering creativity, presenting the beautiful Omani heritage of tolerance and coexistence. The team comprises of young men and women who in addition to their personal and professional commitments are passionate and enthusiastic about Oman and the Omani culture. The team works tirelessly in ensuring that the message of peace and brotherhood are cascaded to all the people residing in Oman. The team engages with prominent Omani scholars and political leaders to reach out to the rest of the world via mediums that are easily accessible anywhere. These media include internet and social platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram etc. While presenting our messages, we ensure that we offer them in multiple languages in order to reach out to a broader audience.

The primary goal of 1Nation Team is to help reflect Allah’s commandments to all mankind which He clearly mentions in the Holy Quran: (“O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you people and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is the all Knowing and Acquainted”). Qur’an 49:13
